The Deltona Fire Department are offering 2 locations where residents can receive flu shots. These upcoming locations are:
October 24th from 9-12 at the Daytona Community Center.
November 14th from 9-12 at the Harris B. Saxon Community Center.

On October 3, 2009 9 the City of Deltona will be partnering with The House Next Door and hosting a Charity Golf Tournament with proceeds going to The House Next Door which provides Mental Health Counseling, Prevention and Education Programs and more to empower Deltona families and to help build stronger communities.

Music in the Courtyard series presented by the City of Deltona will include a jazz orchestra during September.
The free concert will be held on 7 p.m. Sept. 12 in the courtyard of Deltona City Hall, 2345 Providence Blvd. Music in the Courtyard is typically the second Saturday in the month.

Did you know Deltona has a public market every Saturday where you can purchase produce, flowers and plants? The market is held at the Deltona City Hall which is located at 2345 Providence Blvd. the market opens at 8 a.m. and runs to noon.
Deltona will be hosting a workshop for residents facing foreclosure. There will be opportunities to meet with mortgage lenders, HUD-certified housing counselors, local housing authorities, legal assistance, credit counseling services, and many other foreclosure assistance programs.

Deltona residents can enjoy the 2009 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza. This celebration will be held at Dewey O. Boster Sports Complex, 1200 Saxon Blvd. Events will start at 6 p.m. with fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
