Did you know Deltona has a public market every Saturday where you can purchase produce, flowers and plants? The market is held at the Deltona City Hall which is located at 2345 Providence Blvd. the market opens at 8 a.m. and runs to noon.
Workshop in Deltona to assist & educate homeowners facing foreclosure
Deltona will be hosting a workshop for residents facing foreclosure. There will be opportunities to meet with mortgage lenders, HUD-certified housing counselors, local housing authorities, legal assistance, credit counseling services, and many other foreclosure assistance programs.

Deltona residents can enjoy the 2009 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza. This celebration will be held at Dewey O. Boster Sports Complex, 1200 Saxon Blvd. Events will start at 6 p.m. with fireworks at 9:15 p.m.

Deltona believes so. The news-journalonline.com reports that city officials voted for a 1 year ban on select impact fees in hopes of encouraging commercial development.
