The Deltona Fire Department will offer low-cost flu vaccinations every Saturday starting November 8th between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm at Deltona Fire Department’s Training Annex until November 29, 2008. The Training Annex is located at 1681 Providence Blvd. (next to Station 61). The cost is $25.00, payable by cash or check. The only insurance accepted is Medicare Part B and Medicare cards must be presented on site in order for the recipient to receive coverage. Flu shots can only be administered to individuals 18 years of age or older.The common flu vaccine is recommended once yearly by the National Center for Disease Control.Anyone with questions may contact Lt.
